A Legacy of Learning and Creativity
The Rene Honeyman Jewellery Academy was born from Rene’s lifelong passion for both jewellery and education. After decades in the industry, she recognised a growing need to pass down the skills, techniques, and values that define true craftsmanship.
Based in our Somerset West workshop, the academy provides students with hands-on experience in a real working studio. Here, learning goes beyond textbooks — it’s about developing an eye for detail, an appreciation for beauty, and the discipline that every artisan must master.
Our vision is to help build a future where South Africa’s jewellery industry thrives through local skill, creativity, and excellence.

Full Time Classes
